Romeo and his pokemon were walking on a huge open meadow, called Grassy Plains. It was truly a green grassy utopia for all small Bug and Grass pokemon. There was life everywhere you looked. Small insects swarming around, playing and gathering food. Grass pokemon were taking long sunbathes and caressing the colourful flowers which colored the whole plains with all the colors of rainbow. Also flying pokemon were gliding majestically over the fields, searching for bug and grass pokemon to eat. The whole place was a stunning example of perfect ecosystem. One just couldn't feel unhappy in a paradise like this.
"Heh heh.. finally got a job where i don't have to avoid falling rocks or get confused by sudden illusions done by ghost pokemon." Perk thought out loud. Clefairy also seemed happy, it was dancing around, gathering all kinds of beautiful flowers into one big bouquet.
"Who are you going to give that?" Perk asked, even though he knew the answer. Even though his two first pokemon, Pichu and Clefairy, pretend to hate each other and fight all the time, Perk knows in deep their hearts they like each other very much. Maybe Pichu is too child to even think about girl pokemon, and Clefairy thinks herself more of a mother than a girlfriend to Pichu, but there still a strong connection between thos two pokemon.
The newcomer, Psyduck, however, doesn't seem to have interest to right about anything. It just walks around, quacks and stares with the neverchanging blank look on it's face.
Now Pichu and Psyduck were walking behind Perk and Clefairy. Or actually, Pichu was standing on Psyduck's flat beak, chirping happily. But Psyduck didn't seem to mind, it just walked forward, ignoring the beauty surrounding it.
"Oh there you are!" An old man's voice shouted from the distance.
"Oh... HI! Yes, here we are!" Perk replied. As the man in the distance walked closer, Perk noticed it was the person he presumed he was. Prof. Firtree, a famous ornitologist.
Few days ago Prof. Firtree had found a strange egg from an abandoned nest. He had bring it back to his cottage in the small forest in the middle of the Grassy Plains, and had immidiately called for Moonlight co. to check it out with their patented invention, the EggDex.
It's a machine that can read the DNA of the pokemon inside the egg, and then find a matching information and profile for this pokemon from the huge PokeDex archive stored inside the EggDex.
